:?: Being well over 60 years of age I have to take several medicines every day and I wonder why all but one are packed in standard packaging without any help to remember whether I have taken my medication or not.

Friedrich,

you are raising an important issue.

I can't give an educated answer to the 'Why?', unfortunately.

I can only guess that key stakeholders in pharma companys
have not yet discovered the benefits of reminder packaging for assisting
patients in their daily therapy AND for retaining loyal patients.

Those who have discovered the value of reminder packaging
(the number is growing!) may have to face the argument that
reminder packaging ad costs.

This may be true but if one analyzes the benefit / cost ratio more carefully one finds that the benefits for pharma companies and patients (and other stakeholders) outperform the added costs of a better pack presentation.

Unfortunately the number of strong case studies published is low.
And anybody who wants to go the route of better pack presentation may get pushback.

Friedrich, can you share with me which features you would like to see
on a reminder pack or which you like best regarding the one pack you are using, as mentioned? Thanks.

Best regards,
Thomas Dries
